Supplemental Prenatal Support
With Minnesota's Only Chiropractor + Midwife
Your OB or midwife visit lasts about fifteen minutes. Supplemental Prenatal Support gives you real, unhurried time with someone who understands pregnancy inside and out, so you can slow down, ask every question, and actually understand what's ahead. This is education and consulting alongside the provider you already have, not in place of them.
This program is educational, not medical care. Sessions are designed to complement the prenatal care you already receive, not replace it. You'll remain under the active care of your OB or midwife throughout your pregnancy, and any clinical questions or concerns should always go to them first.
Your OB Appointment Is 15 Minutes. Your Questions Aren't.
A typical prenatal visit is short by design: vitals, a quick check, and a few minutes for questions if there's time left over. That leaves a lot of ground uncovered: what your labs actually mean, how to think about your anatomy scan, how to build a birth plan that reflects what you actually want, and what to expect in postpartum before you're in the middle of it.
Supplemental Prenatal Support is built to fill exactly that gap: dedicated one-on-one time devoted entirely to helping you understand your pregnancy and prepare for what's ahead.
What Supplemental Prenatal Support Is
Supplemental Prenatal Support is an educational consulting program for expecting parents who want more time, context, and confidence heading into birth. Across a series of sessions, you'll work through your labs, your anatomy scan, birth planning, positioning, and postpartum prep, guided by someone trained as both a midwife and a chiropractor.
What This Is (and Isn't)
- This is education and consulting, not medical care.
- You remain under the active care of your OB or midwife throughout your pregnancy.
- Anything clinical, including your specific symptoms, test results, or decisions, should always be directed to your provider of record.
- Sessions are a place to slow down, ask questions, and build understanding and confidence about what's ahead.
- Positions and stretches are taught and reviewed as education. This program doesn't include hands-on bodywork or physical assessment. For that, Body Ready Method assessments and prenatal chiropractic care are offered separately.
Two Ways to Work Together
Both options cover the same four essentials of your pregnancy: labs and goals, your anatomy scan, birth planning and positioning, and postpartum prep. The difference is pace and depth.

What We'll Cover, Step by Step
The Four Essentials of Supplemental Prenatal Support
- Foundations & GoalsLabs, nutrition, supplements, and exercise, reviewed in plain language, plus a preview of your upcoming anatomy scan and a conversation about what you most want support with.
- Mid-Pregnancy Check-In & Birth Plan KickoffWhat your anatomy scan and upcoming labs generally mean, newborn procedure decisions reviewed in advance rather than in the moment, your birth plan template, and an introduction to Spinning Babies and optimal positioning.
- Birth Prep Deep DiveReviewing labor positions and stretches in more depth, building your birth plan together, and a conversation about common late-pregnancy topics like induction, GBS, and cervical checks.
- Finalize & Postpartum BridgeFinalizing your birth plan, postpartum physical and mental health prep, and lactation basics, before baby arrives, not after.
In-Person or Virtual, Your Choice
Every session is available in-person at our Hopkins, MN office or virtually by video call, at the same price. Both formats cover the same four essentials, and positions and stretches are taught and reviewed the same way whether you're in the room or on a video call.
Can't find this kind of support near you? All sessions are also available virtually, because this depth of care shouldn't depend on your zip code.
Is This Right for You?
Supplemental Prenatal Support is for you if
- You already have an OB or midwife and want more time and support alongside them
- You want your labs, scans, and birth plan explained in plain language, not rushed through
- You want to know your options and feel informed, not just told what to do
- You want newborn procedure decisions and postpartum prep handled before you're in the middle of it
- You want a consistent, dedicated person walking with you through your pregnancy
This might not be the right fit if
- You're looking for a provider to deliver your baby or manage your clinical care, which this program doesn't include
- You're looking for a group class format rather than one-on-one time with a professional
- You're not currently working with an OB or midwife, since Supplemental Prenatal Support requires an active primary provider
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a replacement for my OB or midwife?
No. Supplemental Prenatal Support is educational consulting that runs alongside your existing prenatal care. You'll continue seeing your OB or midwife for all clinical care, testing, and decision-making throughout your pregnancy.
Will you be my midwife or deliver my baby?
No. This program is educational and consultative, not clinical care and not birth attendance. Dr. Chrisi is not acting as your midwife or treating provider in this program.
What if something urgent comes up between sessions?
Always contact your OB or midwife directly, or go to your local labor and delivery unit or the ER for anything urgent. Between sessions, you can also reach out by email with quick questions, and we'll help you think through what to bring to your provider.
Can I do this if I'm planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, or home birth?
Yes. Supplemental Prenatal Support works alongside any prenatal care setup, hospital, birth center, or home birth, as long as you have an OB or midwife providing your clinical care throughout your pregnancy.
What's the difference between Full Support and Essentials?
Both cover the same four topics: labs and goals, your anatomy scan, birth planning and positioning, and postpartum prep. Full Support gives each topic a full 60-minute session. Essentials covers the same ground in one full session plus three focused 30-minute check-ins, at a lower price.
Where are sessions held?
In-person sessions are held at 1719 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343. Every session is also available virtually by video, at the same price.

Ready for More Time and Support?
Pregnancy comes with a lot of questions, and fifteen minutes with your OB or midwife rarely leaves room to ask all of them. Supplemental Prenatal Support gives you the space to slow down — to understand your labs and your anatomy scan, to build a birth plan that actually reflects what you want, and to walk into postpartum feeling prepared instead of caught off guard.
